Jux Terms of Service – dated March 2022

So, this is the boring legal stuff, but it’s also very important, it’s here to ensure that we operate appropriately and that we fully inform you on what we do and what it is you are agreeing to do. It contains really important information about your rights and obligations and also a dispute resolution clause when things have gone wrong and you feel you aren’t getting the agreed upon service from us.

Firstly, welcome to being part of Jux, we are really excited that you have decided to use our application. But before you can, we need you to read these Terms of Service and agree to them

Who are we

We are Jux, a trading name of 1CARD Solutions Ltd. If you need it, our company number is 11950400 and our registered office is at 20 – 22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. 1CARD Solutions Ltd is the controller of your personal information, and is responsible for your personal information. All references in this policy to “Jux”, “our”, “us” or “we” refer to 1CARD Solutions Ltd as appropriate. All references in this policy to “our website”, refer to the website owned by Jux at www.Juxapp.co.uk.

Acceptance of Terms of Service

By downloading and using Jux (“Jux,” “we” or “us”), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Jux may at any time modify these Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of it by clicking on the “Terms of Service” link on the Jux website, www.Juxapp.co.uk or in the Jux application. The most current version will supersede all previous versions. By continuing to use the Jux application after changes are made and notified to you (on the mobile number you have registered with us), you agree to be bound by such changes. We withhold the right to refuse and or terminate any account in accordance with these terms of use.

Service Overview

To start using Jux, you can create an account using your mobile number, or your Facebook or Google account. We will confirm and store securely (see Privacy Policy) all information. This information enables you to have a Jux account and see the sneak peaks of the Jux Club, but to subscribe to the Jux Club and to withdraw your Jux Balance will require additional information.

Payment for Services

Some Services can be accessed for FREE of charge, additional Services may require payment. In order to place payments, you will be redirected to the appropriate “Payment Solution”, this will either be the Apple iTunes Store or Google Play Store, previously some users may have provided their card details via our trusted payment solution provider (Stripe).  All payments shall be placed using the Payment Solution; thus, payment information is not collected and/or save by Jux. You are solely responsible for securing your payment information. Jux shall not be held responsible for any theft, unauthorised use and damages of any kind occurring in relation with placing payments to the service.  Jux may at its sole discretion, from time to time, cancel or add services for free, increase or decrease the amounts for paid Services that had previously been offered for free and introduce new Services either free of charge or paid ones.


Local offers – Our local offer service allows retailers (partners) to make available via the Jux application any offer they wish to advertise. These offers are the responsibility of the partner and not Jux, but any issues or concerns should be reported to Jux via email to enquiries@juxapp.co.uk so that we can engage the partner and if required remove or amend the offer. The local offer service is provided free of charge, we may receive a fee or commission from the partners who advertise via Jux.

The Jux Club (“the Club”) – The Club is a paid for service, that offers exclusive deals and offers, you can view a number of the available offers before deciding to subscribe to the service. The Jux Club Membership subscription of £2.99 will be taken monthly on the day after your subscription expires (please see Payment for Services). The Club is provided by our partner Rokami Ltd, if you decide to subscribe to the service to make use of the available offers, then you will need to agree to the terms and conditions of the Club (https://juxapp.club/Pages/Terms). If you created your Jux account using your mobile number, then becoming a Jux Club member requires additional information (name and email. If you used Facebook or Google to create your Jux account, then this information will have been provided, we will securely share this information with Rokami Ltd.   If you do not wish to share these details then we will not be able to offer the Club services but you can still access the Local offers within the app.  More information is available on the Clubs Privacy Policy (https://juxapp.club/Pages/Privacy). By authorising the subscription payment, you agree that we may start your subscription immediately.  This means that you are not entitled to a refund if you change your mind after we have provided you with access to the Club. You may notify us of your intention to cancel or pause at any time, but the intention will only take effect at the end of your then current subscription period.

About Your Jux Account

Jux bonus – The Jux bonus is purely a discretionally service offered by Jux, when you scan and use a local offer. Jux will decide on a regular basis what offers will earn a Jux bonus. This means that not all offers will earn a Jux bonus and the offers that may have previously earned a bonus may change. The Jux bonus will be converted to pounds sterling and will be shown within your Jux Balance.

Refer a friend – if you like Jux, then you can refer a friend, when you do this via the Jux app, Jux will give you  an additional Jux bonus. Jux withhold the right to withdraw any additional Jux bonus with immediate effect. For the referral to be successful, your friend must click on your unique link, sign up to Jux and then both of you either need scan a local offer or become a Jux Club member.  Only referral bonuses for genuine sign-ups will be paid. We will not pay the bonus for any referrals where the new account has been terminated. Multiple accounts created for use by the same person or any fraudulent signups may result in termination of your account and all accounts which we deem to be linked.

Jux Balance – The Jux Balance represents the total amount you have earned from Jux bonus and the Jux Club cashback (you must be a member of the Jux Club to earn cashback), but it does not include any pending Jux Club cashback.  It is important to note that we do not hold money in your account similar to a bank and legal title to any Jux bonus  or cashback earnings does not pass to you until you have taken possession of the value by way of a successful withdrawal from your Jux account.

Withdrawal – You can request to withdraw your available Jux Balance from your account at any time via the Jux app, but will be subject to minimum values. The minimum that can be withdrawn from the Jux Bonus is £10.00, but there is no minimum from the Jux Club. We ask that you input and check your bank details carefully, as its your responsibility to ensure that the details are correct, we shall not be responsible for withdrawals being sent to incorrect bank accounts, where you have inputted incorrect details. If you change your bank details, there may be a delay whilst we undertake security checks before actioning your request. Withdrawals can only be made to a single bank account and may take up to 7 working days to be received. We reserve the right to suspend a withdrawal at any time without notice to you if we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity has taken place.

Account Closure – You can request to close your Jux account at any time, if you have any value on your Jux Balance, we will initiate a withdrawal, if you have not registered your bank details, these will be requested before the account can be closed. Any cashback that is pending when the account is closed will not be paid by the retailer.

Payment Policy

You may access parts of the Services for free, and other parts of the Services require payment of subscription and/or other fees (“Paid Content”). Fees charged may be one-time payments or automatically renewing payments as further described in the respective Services. By choosing to access, buy or subscribe to any Paid Content, you hereby authorise Jux to charge your Payment Solution, for all the costs and charges that apply to such Paid Content. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for all applicable fees and charges incurred, including applicable taxes, and all subscription fees and purchases made by you or by anyone that has used your account(s). Please note that Jux uses third-party payment processors to facilitate payments for the Services. If you make a purchase through a third-party application store, such as Apple App Store or Google Play, your purchase will be subject to such third party’s applicable payment policy, terms of use and other applicable policy’s such third parties may have in place.

Payment Information – To access Paid Content, you must provide valid and accepted payment information. If the payment information provided by you is declined for payment of the Paid Content you are subscribed to, you must provide Jux with alternative valid payment information or your access to Paid Content may be suspended at Jux’s sole discretion. In such an event, you will get access to Paid Content as soon as the provided payment information has been processed and approved.

Trials – When you subscribe for Paid Content, Jux may, from time to time at its sole discretion offer a trial or free period in which such Paid Content may be accessed without payment or at a reduced rate (“Trial Period or Free period”). This may vary depending on promotions, type of subscription and the term you select at the time of purchase. Jux reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to determine your eligibility for a Trial Period and may cancel or change the Trial Period terms at any time without notice and/or liability to you, within the limits permitted by applicable law. Jux may require you to provide your valid payment information in order to start the Trial Period. By providing this information, you agree that unless you choose to cancel your paid subscription prior to the end of the Trial Period, Jux may automatically begin charging you for such Paid Content, starting on the first day following the Trial Period, on a monthly (or other recurring) basis as notified to you, until you cancel your subscription to such Paid Content (i.e. turn off automatic renewal from your ‘Jux Club Subscription’ or via Google Play or the Apple App Store). If you do not want to be charged, you must cancel your subscription to such Paid Content before the end of the Trial Period. If you cancel your subscription to Paid Content, your Account will only have access to those parts of our Services that you may access for free.

Billing, Renewals And Cancellations – The subscription fee for our auto-renewable subscription plans in monthly instalments charged every month in advance for the duration of the subscription period. The pricing and terms applicable to your subscription may vary depending on promotions, type of subscription and the subscription period you select at the time of purchase. If your subscription started with a promotion or Trial Period at a reduced rate, your renewal rate may be higher than your initial rate. In some cases, your payment billing dates or billing term for your subscription may change if your payment was not successfully finalized on the original due date. Jux will use reasonable efforts to inform you of the billing term change through email. If you have registered for any Paid Content, you may change your mind and receive a full refund of all monies paid within thirty (30) days from your subscription to such Paid Content, provided that during such period you have not at any time used or otherwise accessed such Paid Content. If you choose to sign up for an auto-renewable subscription for Paid Content, you understand and agree that your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the subscription period, and that payment for the renewal period is automatically charged to you using the payment information you have provided, unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the then-current subscription period If you purchased a paid subscription to Paid Content via a third party, such as Apple App Store, you can cancel such paid subscription via such third party following the applicable terms and payment policies of such third party. Except as specifically provided otherwise in these Terms of Use, you hereby agree that any payment made by you to Jux is and will be FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE.

Price Changes – Jux prices and fees may change from time to time. If the pricing of your Paid Content changes, Jux will notify you in advance and provide you with an opportunity to review such changes to your subscription fee. Price changes will take effect at the beginning of the next subscription period after the date of the price change. If you do not agree to a price change, then your only right is to terminate your account. To the extent permitted under applicable law, continuing to use the Services after any price or fee change takes effect, shall indicate that you accept such price or fee change. If you do not accept a price change, your only right is to refuse the change by cancelling the subscription to Paid Content before the price change takes effect.


Any information that you submit or we collect when you are using the Jux application is subject to the Jux Privacy Policy, the terms of which are incorporated into these Terms of Service.

Limitations on Use

You must be at least 13 years old to download and use the Jux application, if you do not qualify, please do not download the Jux application.

Intellectual Property

Jux and/or its licensors are the sole owners of the Jux application, which includes any software, domains, and content made available through it. The Jux application is protected by US and International copyright and other intellectual property laws. It is for your own personal and non-commercial use only, and Jux grants you a limited license for that purpose. Without limitation, this means that you may not sell, export, license, modify, copy, reverse engineer, distribute or transmit the Jux application without Jux’s prior express written permission. Any unauthorized use of the Jux application will terminate the limited license granted by us. Jux and its graphics, logos, icons and service names related to the Jux application are registered and unregistered trademarks or trade dress of 1CARD Solutions Ltd. They may not be used without Jux’s prior express written permission. All other trademarks not owned by Jux that appear in connection with the Jux application are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to or sponsored by Jux.

Electronic Communications

By downloading and/or using the Jux application, you consent to receiving electronic communications and notices from 1CARD Solutions Ltd (the publisher of Jux) may also send you electronic communications and notices promoting their own similar services. You agree that any notice, agreement, disclosure or other communications that we send to you electronically will satisfy any legal communication requirements, including that such communications be in writing.

Your Conduct

By downloading and using the Jux application, you agree not to upload, post, e-mail or otherwise send or transmit any material that contains viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment associated with the Jux application. You also agree not to interfere with the servers or networks connected to the Jux application or to violate any of the procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Jux application, the terms of which are incorporated herein. You also agree not to: (1) impersonate any other person while using the Jux application; (2) conduct yourself in a vulgar, offensive, harassing or objectionable manner while using the Jux application; (3) use the Jux application for any unlawful purpose; or (4) resell or export the software associated with the Jux application.

Jux does not promote, recommend or condone use of the Jux application during certain activities, such as automobile driving, where there is a significant risk of accident. You agree not to use the Jux application during such activities.

Third Party Offers

The Jux application may contain links to third party web sites or programs that are not controlled by or affiliated with Jux. Jux is not responsible for the content, offers or privacy policies of such sites and programs, including, without limitation, your redemption of such offers or a merchant’s refusal to honour any offer. Your dealings with third party sites are solely between you and the applicable third party.

Charges for Using the Jux application

Jux currently provides the Jux application to you free of charge. However, when you use the Jux application, you may be subject to charges imposed by your wireless or other applicable carrier. Payment of such charges is solely your responsibility. The Jux application may not be accessible in some foreign countries, this will depend on the Jux application being supported by the foreign network. You should check with the local carrier whether you will be required to pay additional charges for such access. The ability to download or access the Jux application may be restricted or impaired when on a roaming network abroad

Use of Information Submitted

You agree that Jux is free to use any comments, information or ideas contained in any communication you may send to Jux without compensation, acknowledgement or payment to you for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products and services and creating, modifying or improving the Jux application or other products or services.

No Warranty & Liability Limit

Jux provides the Jux application “as is” and without any warranty or condition, whether express, implied or statutory. Jux specifically disclaims any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Jux assumes no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the Jux application; any failures, delays or interruptions in the Jux application; any losses or damages arising from the use of the Jux application, including, without limitation, any damage to your mobile device; or any conduct by users of the Jux application. We reserve the right to deliver the Jux application in our sole and absolute discretion.

In no event shall Jux, its shareholders, directors, officers, employees or agents be liable (jointly or severally) to you for loss of use or any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Jux application or these terms of service, on any theory of liability, and whether or not advised of the possibility of damage. If any applicable authority holds any portion of this section to be unenforceable, then liability will be limited to the fullest possible extent permitted by applicable law.


You agree to indemnify and hold Jux and its related companies, and each of their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents and merchant partners harmless from and against any third-party claim or cause of action, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs, arising, directly or indirectly, out of your use of the Jux application or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.


Governing Law – You agree that these terms of service or any claim, dispute or controversy (whether in contract, tort or otherwise, whether pre-existing, present or future, and including statutory, common law and equitable claims) between you and Jux arising from or relating to these Terms of Service, their interpretation or breach, termination or validity, the relationships which result from these Terms of Service, the Jux application, Jux’s advertising or any related transaction shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UK.


If any provision of these Terms of Service is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck, and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. Headings are for reference purposes only and in no way define, limit, construe or describe the extent or scope of such section. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. These Terms of Service set forth the entire understanding and agreement between you and Jux with respect to the subject matter hereof.
